Instead, they slash the prices after a long term of product existence. They do so because they don't have a large catalogue. Apparels company can avoid discounts as they are having a large catalogue to offer. They can discontinue their product anytime. In this era, you can't provide too much price fluctuation on small occasions this tends to irritate customers as they keep the image of pricing sceptical all the time. A brand should think about innovative ways to make their product affordable, instead of providing irrelevant discounts.
